Check a certificate for yourself.
Every certificate we issue carries its own link and a QR code, and both open the same public page. Paste either one below to read it at the source, rather than taking a screenshot at its word.
What you will see
The certificate itself, on its own page.
The link opens the document, not a summary of it. It is the same sheet the holder prints, and it carries five things.
- The holder
- The name as it stood when the certificate was issued. It is frozen at that moment and does not follow a later rename.
- The chapters passed
- All 8 assessed chapters, listed by name, plus the final exam across them.
- The date of issue
- The day the final was passed and the certificate was created.
- The certificate number
- The reference printed on the sheet, for quoting in a CV or an email.
- The course revision
- Which revision of the Running Analysis Course the holder was examined against, so a certificate can be read in the context of the material behind it.
Nothing else about the holder appears there. No email address, no scores, no attempt history, and no account you have to sign into to read it.
If the link does not open a certificate
You will see a short, neutral page saying we could not find a certificate at that link. Incomplete, unknown and withdrawn links all land on that same page, and that is deliberate: telling one from another would say something about a named person to whoever happens to be holding the link. If you were expecting a certificate and did not get one, check the link for a missing character first, then ask the holder.
Why the number alone will not do it
The number printed on the sheet cannot be looked up, by design. It is there to be quoted in an email or read down a phone line, and if it opened the certificate then quoting it would hand over a working link to the document. Verification goes through the link or the QR code instead, which the holder chooses to share.
